About Shipping

We ship daily direct from our factory.

Shipping typically costs from $ 15 (standard) to $ 50 (express) for a single unit order.

The cost is quoted before you pay and depends on weight, address and shipping.

The fastest option with one day turn-around and express delivery via FedEx. Typical ship time is 2 days to Asia, US, Canada and Mexico, and 3 to 5 days elsewhere. It is trackable online, fully insured and requires a signature upon receipt. If your order processing is delayed by more than one business day, your shipping fee is discounted.

Federal Express International Courier

This is the recommended option for most orders. It costs about 40% less than Express for most orders and also ships via FedEx. Typical ship time is 3 days to Asia, US, Canada and Mexico and 4 to 7 days elsewhere. Like Express it is also trackable online, fully insured and requires a signature upon receipt.

International Airmail via Australia Post

This is the most economical option for small packages and is recommended for low value orders and accessories. Typical delivery time is 5 days to Asia, US, Canada and Mexico and 7 or more days to most other countries. Airmail is not trackable online and insurance is limited to $ 500/order. Airmail may be subject to delays for higher valued orders (we recommend FedEx instead in this case).

All orders shipped express, priority or standard are insured (unless otherwise noted). If your insured order arrives in a damaged condition, please notify us immediately, describing the damage and we will issue an RMA. Return your order (insured, and at your cost) and upon our receipt of your damaged unit we will despatch a replacement (insured, at our cost). If your insured order is lost in transit, a replacement will be sent to you free of charge 30 days after the last date notifed by the shipper (which depends on the service and destination, and typically ranges from 21 to 90 days).

If you have an account with DHL, UPS or FedEx we can ship collect (ie, you pay shipping direct). To use this method, choose "consignee paid" when ordering and include your freight company account number when asked for your shipping advice during order checkout. There is no handling fee and transit risk passes to you upon delivery to your courier (EXW SYDNEY).

Orders greater than $ 1000 must ship Priority or Express via FedEx or EXW SYDNEY. A declared value and delivery area surcharge may be levied by FedEx (details) on these orders which may be payable upon delivery.

We normally ship DAP per Incoterms 2010 which means we pay all carriage and insurance costs to the named destination except costs related to import clearance.

Duty is not usually levied on BitScope in the US, EU and many other countries and no tax is applied on your order unless delivered to an Australian address. However your shipment may be assesed for local sales tax or VAT upon arrival in which case it will be payable upon receipt.

For customers in countries that conform to the international harmonized tariff schedule (US, UK, EU, Canada, Japan etc) you may wish to include special instructions on your invoice (which you can do during online checkout). The normal tariff code (or TARIC in Europe) for BitScope is:

847150 : Digital processing unit containing one or two of the following types of unit: storage units, input units, output units; not for civilian aircraft use.

If you have a tax exemption number you can also quote this during the online checkout and if you are purchasing for a special purpose that may require different customs treatment, you can enter that information too. All this information will all be printed on your shipping invoice.
